About

The Good Measure is an Athens atelier built around a simple idea: good fit comes from observing the wearer, understanding the garment and intervening with restraint.

Working tailoring atelier in Athens
A working atelier, organised around fittings, cloth and careful bench work.

Craft begins before the needle

We start by listening: how the garment is used, where it feels wrong and what the wearer wants to preserve. Measurements support that conversation, but posture, movement and construction make the final decision.

Respect for the garment

Original proportion, seam allowance, lining and handwork deserve attention. We favour the smallest effective alteration and explain when a requested change would compromise the garment. New commissions follow the same discipline through cloth choice, measurements and successive fittings.

A modern service around traditional work

The craft is physical; the service around it can be effortless. The atelier keeps appointments, customer history and fitting notes together so returning clients do not have to start from zero and follow-up stays personal.
